Mandy has been a Dietitian and Diabetes Educator for more than 13 years and have worked in community, hospital and private practice helping people with Diabetes, food intolerances and disordered eating. She is currently also working part time as a Senior Diabetes Dietitian at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, Western Australia helping pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN SERVICES?
Please note we are not a bulk billing practice. All appointments will be charged the full fee and then if applicable, you'll receive a rebate for a portion of the fee from Medicare or your private health fund.
Medicare – A rebate of $55.10 is available from Medicare if a Chronic Disease Management Plan is issued by your GP. Please discuss your eligibility for a care plan with your GP.
Private Health Fund – Most private health funds provide a rebate on dietetic appointments. The rebate amount depends on your level of cover. To check if private health rebates apply, call your private health insurer and quote the relevant item number (initial 500, follow up 600).
DVA – I am an approved provider for DVA services. Patients with a gold card have no out-of-pocket expense as DVA covers the cost of your visit to an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
HOW ARE THE SESSIONS CONDUCTED?
All appointments are run via telehealth, through video or phone call. The video link will be sent to you within the confirmation email after you book an appointment. It is just a simple click and you are ready to go! All you need is a computer/laptop/mobile phone with a camera and audio.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice is given, 100% of the consultation fee will apply as we are unable to offer this appointment to another client who may be on a waiting list.
